My address is 733 Roosevelt Trail Suite 3B Windham, Maine 04062.  For parking, I share the white building with Superior Image in between Walgreens and Amatos. There is plenty of free parking all around the building. Enter the door by the dumpster, go up the stairs and I’m the second door on the left. 


Does it hurt?

 

CAN I GET A MASSAGE IF I HAVE A HEALTH CONDITION?

Massage should not hurt!!! Our massages are meant to sooth areas of discomfort. You should not feel any pain during your session. I’m happy to discuss any concerns with you prior to your booking.


Yes, if you have any of these HIGH RISK CONDITIONS (applicable to general AND prenatal massage clients) please get a note from your doctor or midwife regarding massage PRIOR to your visit to our office:

  • Surface blood clots or history of clotting issues

  • Cardiac disorders or disease 

  • Previous major surgery on organs or organ transplant

  • Carrying triplets or more

  • Illegal Drug exposure during pregnancy

  • HIV Positive

  • History of cancer or undergoing chemotherapy


 If you are CURRENTLY experiencing any of the following, massage is NOT recommended:

  • Threat of miscarriage - current bleeding, spotting, hemorrhaging

  • Active Infectious or contagious disease

  • Premature labor (labor prior to 37 weeks) -- but we can work with women on bed rest.

  • Fever, Nausea, or Diarrhea

  • Pre-eclampsia

  • Toxemia (eclampsia)

  • No regular fetal movement 

  • Severe, unexplained abdominal pain

  • Throbbing/Migraine headache

  • Kidney and/or bladder disease or infection

  • Any active inflammatory disease affecting blood vessels

  • Diabetes - with active complications

  • Breast infection with fever

  • If you have active cancer or you are undergoing cancer treatment, you may be referred to the Dempsey Center for specific oncology massage.

Cancellation Policy

Comfortable loose clothing. You will be undressing to your level of comfort. Therapist will go over how to undress appropriately during intake. Avoid wearing makeup and perfume. It's courteous to shower and to practice proper hygiene right before an appointment.  


Bon Vital Original Massage lotion; Made with Arnica, Ivy & cucumber Extracts. It has little to no odor, lightweight Non greasy formula. Suitable for most skin types- including sensitive and acne prone skin. Please let your therapist know if you have allergies!


Tipping is never required but is always greatly appreciated. The standard hospitality rate for massage tipping is 20%. For example if a massage or treatment costs $100, a 20% tip would be $20.



For general health and relaxation, massages are recommended 1-2 times a month. Massage therapy is a helpful tool for maintaining ALL areas of you well-being.

 

My time is valuable, I kindly ask for a 48 hour cancellation notice. This allows me to plan my time accordingly and or book the slot with another client who needs the work. If you choose to cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged 50% of the service. If you cancel the day of the appointment or do not show up at your appointment time, you will be charged the full service fee.
